[RC] scrufing *not *caused by girths - rides2far

I think this is true as I have problems in the spring when she is
shedding
and in the fall when the new coat is coming in.

One more clue that makes me think it's so is that for the last few years
I've seen lots of people having trouble with it after Big South Fork (or
the 2nd day of the multi). I kept trying to figure out what it was about
that place that caused girth sores....sand? But we do sand other places,
and I did Big South Fork for *years* without a problem then yesterday
when I was mulling all this over I realized Big South Fork used to be
around Sept. 29 and now it's at the beginning of the month. I think it's
just held right when they are most susceptible.
