I heard that selenium in a horses diet is important if they are above sand
pasture.

We had sand in NY and one of my friends had been reading about her Arab. I
do 
recall her mentioning reading about Arabians of their native country have to
have 
selenium in the diet.

Do some checking on it. It somehow helps the situation. I cannot remember
the details of it.
Anyone hear this?
