The normal motion of the legs loosens the "supports"
on such boots within 10 or so minutes from the 
beginning of exercise. 

What about in stall rest? What's the preferrence
between boots and pillows and wraps?

Bottom line--if you ride longer than that, there is 
no longer any support to speak of coming from
the boots.  Chris is pretty much right on target
with her observations and comments.

So, how do you support legs while they heal? What's my
best bet to protect her tendons while they strengthen?
