[RC] balancing trailer tires - Timothy Worden

On the way home from Leatherwood my trailer ended up
getting a flat tire. Luckily I was less than half a
mile from home and had already dropped Poco off at the
farm we board at. After stopping and checking which
tire, I turned on my flashers and continued the half
mile home VERY slowly. Though I was anxious to get
back up to Leatherwood to stay in the cabin one more
night, I decided to go ahead and change the flat. I
found a utility blade stuck in my tire. Upon later
inspection, I found a box of new blades scattered by
the road that I'm sure fell off a truck.

While changing the tire the main thing I noticed
though, is that it appears none of the tires on my
trailer are balanced like an auto tire would be. I
purchased this trailer new last January. Is it
standard practice not to balance trailer tires? I'm
seriously considering taking all my tires in to get
balance. Sure seems like it would give an even better
ride and pull. Any thoughts?
