Re: [RC] buying prospects...or endurance on a budget - Truman Prevatt

My first year we had a two horse WW - one my horse looked like a sardine it - boy was she a good sport about it. We pulled with an international scout. We camped in a tent and used a tie line. But we sure had fun. We have accluminated a lot of junk over the years but still the most importnat thing is a good horse you connect with and have a good time riding, a good fitting saddle for the horse and good fitting shoes for the rider. The rest is fluff.

Until then...I will be in my old truck and modest trailer and tent...and just happy to be blessed with two wonderful mares who enjoy me as much as I enjoy them.

Sounds like you've done some great work with your rescue horse and I bet you two will be great partners for many years to come.
