It's not just horses.
Aside from "natural" diseases like mad cow, since 9-11 the government has 
stepped up concerns about bioterrorism. Anything that can carry a disease 
that could infect our food supply or humans will have to be identifiable as 
to it's point of origin and wherever all it has been.
The local postmaster and I chuckle over the list of questions they're 
supposed to ask me when I come I with an armload of packages. I'm just glad 
I don't live in a city where they don't know everybody that comes in, it 
would take forever. I have products I sell that are imported, that have been 
on backorder for over 2 months. Sitting in some shipping container somewhere 
waited to be inspected.  And, I think we ain't seen nuthin yet.
