RE: [RC] Height of horses - kpross

About a month ago, I purchased a gelding by Rushcreek and he is at least
16.2H . . . . I try not to hold that against him because he is so awesome.
My other horse was sold to me as 15.2H and we have sticked her at 14.2H . .
. whatcha gonna do . . .

LOL.. no kidding. My gelding is an honest 15.1H on the
measuring stick. When we go to rides, the vets call
him "bigun." Everyone who looks at him thinks he's
16H! People really often don't know how big a horse
really is.

My little gray Zabbie was sold to me as 15H.. He's
barely 14.2 H.

I would bet my lunch that most of the taller

horses were NOT measured with

a stick and level.  I can't begin to count the

number of times that riders

have actually ARGUED with me, trying to tell me

that my horses are taller

than they really are, particularly the ones with

really good substance.
