Irrespective of the current legality of using a radio to talk to your rider
if you are a crew, I would like to hear opinions from people on the

1. Radio would result in horses being ridden to hard or the extra

I don't see how the use of a radio would cause a horse to be ridden any harder.  In an emergency it could be a life saver for a horse, e.g., a horse has a serious tie up or goes down on the trial.
2. Riders with radio equipped crews would have an unfair advantage because.
Riders with crews have an unfair advantage - but nobody is grousing about that.
3. I'd really like to be in closer contact with my crew because.
Personally I enjoy the time on the trail alone.
