[RC] Telepathy/getting in trailer - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I doubt it was telepathy, but if a little meditation helps you both relax, go
for it. Smart of you to try.

You said "we tried everything" on the trailer loading. In my experience, most
people fail to try the one thing that works best - waiting. Don't smack the
horse's butt, don't tug, don't winch, just keep the horse looking in the
trailer and GENTLY ask them to go forward once in a while. Pet and release for
even THINKING about going in (i.e., shifting weight forward, putting head down
to sniff the floor, raising one leg.) Sometimes you have to stand there in
front of the trailer door for 2 hours - but you know what? Next time it won't
be as long. Waiting is way more boring than "trying stuff" but in the end you
get results.

Glad you finally all got home safely - what a day!
