[RC] Bridleless riding - Ridecamp Guest

Thanks for directing me to the pictures of your friend riding bridleless on the 
Tevis.  Brought back some memories. Many years ago my late husband, a student 
of Monte Foreman's, used to do a lot of riding in just that manner.  No more 
than a rope around the neck.  He often did reining patterns with just the rope 
and one of his mares did flying lead changes every two strides that way.  
Course, she did them with a bit too :).

I've done it a little on one of the horses he trained.  Rode a full course of 
small jumps on a young stallion of Whit's with just the rope....in a stock 
saddle, just for grins.

Fun, but I don't think I'd have to nerve to tackle it on a ride with other 
hyped-up horses out there.  Your friends have my respect.
