Zen = Buddha = horse

There is a spiritual side of the horse that few can see. But, once you've traveled there, to that other side, the metaphysical part of the world rarely visited by man (and, frequently visited by the horse), you will find yourself spending more and more time there. My horse, he takes me there, to that other side.

Ed, I so appreciated reading that post. I had heard that both Buck and Ray can be rude and blunt towards the people he is teaching, form 2 different people who went to them.I would shut down, and learn nothing, in that environment, and would never subject myself to working with them in a clinic. Their gift is obviously teaching horses. I did audit a clinic with Tom Dorrance many years ago, and he was very gentle, never humilating the people trying to learn from him. Reading the part about the gym teachers was so true, and very funny...
