Re: [RC] [RC] Experiences with Plastic Shoes - Michelle Fink

     Hi,

I am curious about how people having good luck with GC's keep their
horses... I tried them on my horse and he pulled them off in just a couple
of weeks. He lives in a rocky canyon with his buddies and runs up and down
the hills and grazes in a swampy area, so I thought maybe that contributed
to the early demise of his shoes... He pulled one of the GC sides over a
nail, and by the time I could arrange to have it repaired, the shoe was
completely gone. Nails were still in the hoof. :-(

Are most people who have good luck with GC's keeping their horses in
smaller areas with more consistent footing (ie. paddocks, corrals)?

     Happy Trails,
     Michelle
     (Colorado)
