Re: [RC] Skito Dryback vs Equipedic - Ericka Nelson

ok, here is what i know.  I rode in a wintec that absolutly slipped off the skito pad and i had to put the drawer liner in between and it worked great.
I had a conversation just last nite with a friend of mine who rides a torsion with the sympa-nova underside, and it works great with his equipedic.  His wife, however, had a fleece lining on her torsion and it slipped on the equipedic.  (she sold her torsion, didn't work for her).
I am currently using the skito dryback with torsion/sympanova and no slipping noted.
that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

I can honestly say this is not true.  I have a Torision with a fleece underside and an equipedic.  This is the only combination I have found to NOT slip around.

Just another experience.

The question would best be answered if you were to say what type of
underside your saddle has. Does it have the waffle underside known as
sympa-nova on the Torsion? Or is it fleece? Sympa-nova will hug the
equipedic (cordura?) covering, but fleece will slip right off. (At one
time, i put waffle weave drawer liner inbetween a slippy saddle and the
pad.) Skito dryback will hug onto your fleece saddle. I am hoping to oder
a equipedic soon for my Torsion Trekker with sympa-nova underside. I
currently use a skito dry back that is just not quite the right cut for the
new saddle, my own fault, bought it out of the sale bin at AERC for mt
Albion. (Which is for sale by the way!)
That is what I know, hope it helps.
Except that you have to order the special cut for treeless saddles, where
the foam slips in from the front edge. But you probably already! knew that ;)
