where exactly are you, what kind of horse,
etc?
There are not many trainers I know that do the
trail thing....but I can't say enough good things about Fred Emigh, formerly in
Santa Rosa and now in Georgetown. He takes both problem and young horses
and puts trail miles on them. He is very patient.
I am north of Santa Rosa....but putting lots of
slow trail miles on two young horses......for anyone who wants to tag
along.

If anyone knows of any good (with people and
horses) trail trainers in the Northern California Bay Area, please let me
know. I am an inexperienced trail rider with a young horse that would
like to do some endurance and competitive trail riding with when we are both
ready.
