When I had one of these scammers email me, I simply asked for their 
address and phone number so I could make contact, and that was the last 
I heard.

Buying/ selling horses:  It does make you wonder when a "perfectly good 
horse" is for sale, but I had one of those for sale myself.  He is a 
wonderful Arab (sweepstakes nominated and of good breeding) that has a 
great base of LD miles on him- we just had a little personality 
conflict, nothing major.  In my naivety, I thought him having a good 
base on him would be a plus (I wanted him to go to an endurance home), 
but since his miles were only LD, I think it was a detriment.  Luckily, 
a friend of a friend (who is know my friend too) bought him and he has 
a great home.  So, you just never know!
