Re: [RC] [RC] Sight Unseen - Nancy Mitts

We just sold one of our horses sight unseen, along with one of our trailers. They'd never even seen one of our trailers except in pictures! Three years old, still a stallion, and we hadn't had any time to work with him. Monte delivered horse and trailer (900 miles away). Stayed there a week, rode the horse and made sure his new family was getting along with him okay. It surprises me people would buy a horse that way, but so far it seems to be working out.

I actually sold one horse twice.  The first lady came, rode him and within
one day sais she wanted him.  We delivered him at 1pm the next day.  Within
24 hours, this lady wanted her money back.  She said he was biting, and
rearing.  This was not he horse i sold, and seemed to be totally out of
character.  We went to pick him up and he was the same sweet obedient horse
that I knew he was.  We did keep $200 for our trouble.  Within a week we
sold him again.  It is hard to place a horse with the right people.
