[RC] re: dog goes for horses feet - Teresa Van Hove

I have a Great Dane that I can't let be near my horse because she immediately goes for the hooves - like she's found the source of all those treasures the farrier leaves for her! Any hints to cure the dog?? (no bacon grease on Holly's feet!)

You mean your horse hasn't cured her already with a swift kick?, or at least a good bite? <g> --other than letting the dog learn the really hard way, sounds like a good use for the 'lectric dog collars.

cheers,
Teresa and Shade and Grey Moun

(dogs best stay out from under their feet- though they've never taken after one -only come very near to running over dogs that didn't get out of the way. Now my first horse probably could've cured your dog - he liked to chase after them with teeth bared)
