RE: [RC] OT- USMC Son Deploys - Teri HunterI to am very proud of our soldiers. I have two sons in the Navy. One has been in for 5.5 years and the other for 6.5. They both signed up for 6 years but my oldest was extended due to the conflict. He is on the USS Wasp which is the main ship of the Expeditionary Strike Group 2 over in Afganistan. He is there for the support of the 3000 marines they carry on the ship. This is his 3rd deployment since 911 and my other sons 2nd. My oldest is suppose to be home in September. My son once told me he fights so I can ride....... My prayers are with Sgt. Rittenhouse and all the other men and women of the armed forces. And lets not forget to thank all the Veterans. While surely not riding endurance, we here have been preparing for this for the past month. Stg Arron Rittenhouse USMC departs today for CA then to places unknown in the sandbox. We are of the belief this is the right and just cause. Arron follows in the footsteps of his Grandfather (wife side) USMC WW2 China, and me USN VN 60-68. Freedom and defense of that life - is why. Without those of us to Serve and Protect we would not have the freedom to enjoy our sport. The other Marines herein know what we are facing today..Jim Holland Bob Morris.. and others.
