Re: [RC] Trailer question - abigail Madden

I had this same problem a few years ago with my old trailer.  I went to Kragen and was looking around for some product that might say on the label that it was specifically for that purpose.  Not having any luck, I had to hunt down an employee and told him what I needed.  His reply, "Oh, any type of grease will do," in a semi-exasperated tone.  In response to my raised eyebrows he then said, "Don't you have ANY grease at home?"  My flat reply, "Just Crisco."  He led me to the appropriate section.  : )

Good luck, Mike.

The crank that raises my trailer hitch is getting hard to turn.

What's the right lubricant to use on it?
