A quick google took me to the website of the manufaturer of
Ichthammol... ai't the web grand? It's the sulpher that stinks.

"Company profile
Trading House SPZ, Ltd is a trading structure of the JSC Shale
Processing Plant. It is the only plant in Russia (and one of the
largest in the world), specializing in thermal processing of
pyroshale. The plant was founded in 1932 in Syzran (Samara
region, Russia), near the Kashpire shale field.

Products
We produce our product Ichthammol from the schist. Schist is a
natural raw material, which extracted from the closed mines at
depth 236 m. Schist chemical composition is: oxygen, sulphureous
nitric combinations, resinous and asphalten substanses.
Ichthammol is the main schist processing product."
