A Scarlet Letter is not enough - I would say to the dunking stool with you ;-)!

Wear your shirt and wear it with pride - the ride manager would want it that way.

They gave me a shirt (they gave t-shirts to everyone, including volunteers, so it wasn't a "completion" award) that I wear alot. But I guess people that see me wearing it who didn't go to that particular ride might assume I completed the ride.  
So maybe next time I wear it I should first take a permanent marker and write on the back of it(I'll have more room that way): 
"I didn't win this ride, I didn't complete this ride, I didn't even RIDE this ride...I just enjoyed it."
