RE: [RC] stall toys - Wendy Harris

I have one horse who loves to play! I put one of the stall pacifiers. It
hooks onto two sides of the stall, sort of a V shape in the corner and the
roller connects to each side. He loves to lick and zip that thing around.
Cracks me up when I'm outside and I can hear that thing flinging away! I've
had other horses that will sneak in to the stall just to take a lick on the
thing and make it zing around. Another good toy..... the orange training
cones. Get a mid-size to large one and make sure you get one that is soft
all the way to the bottom. One horse will pick it up, and it covers the end
of his nose and he runs around like that...its hilarious! Loves to toss the
thing in the air, stomp it, play tug of war with it. Cheap and fun
entertainment for them.

Subject: [RC] stall toys

Well, I noticed my horse is having a little trouble
adjusting to only being fed 2 times a day. It is
normal for horses that live here and his weight is
great but he is really not happy in the middle of the
day. I bought him an apple jolly stall snack and he
was in heaven, until it melted into a big puddle. He
loves to lick things, of course not his mineral block
that much. So I wondered, has anyone made any toys
the would be lickable and not meltable or that might
give out treats? My only problem is I have to be able
to hang it, or it will more than likely end up in the
neighbors or even farther down the corrals. Any thing
to amuse the guy would be great.
Amy
