[RC] We have hit the 100 mark on signatures! - Bette LamoreIt seems that people are emailing friends and other email lists with the address of the AHA letter and LOTS on non-endurance people are signing the AHA letter in support of reducing the politics in the shows and giving more support to distance riding and the image of the Arabian as a family horse.In light of this, I have decided to leave it up a little while longer--- I'm getting supportive emails every day. Thought it would warm your hearts to see such support for distance riding-- seems like Endurance doesn't have such a bad image as some people feared due to the accidents and death rates reported. There were only 47 people from ridecamp who signed it--- ironic as the majority of the signatures has come from non-endurance riders (even though the most of the issues that went into the letter addressed concerns of endurance folk). Interesting....... if you have feedback re: this you can email me privately so as not to clutter up ridecamp with peripheral matters, although this letter started out as a means to make the wishes of many ridecampers known.
