It has taken us over a year and a half to undo all that was done to her by the show trainer. It has been a trial at times, but worth every bit of blood, sweat and tears. My daughter rode her week before last at the Helen Logan River Romp and did incredibly well for Lyric’s second ride and my daughters first. Lyric is also starting to shine at gymkhana. Today we took 7 kids to a neighbor’s ring to practice. One girl fell at the end of a run and started to cry. She was on the notorious naughty pony Merrylegs. Lyric walked over to the girl who was still on the ground and nuzzled and comforted her. It just does not get any better than that! Thank you again,

Subject: [RC] last call: Letter to AHA

Hi all. There was a virus scare so I guess it was difficult to sign the

letter for a few days so I left it up a little longer. So far there are

47 signatures. I am going away this week so if you want to review and

sign the letter before I send it, please do so before Monday. I

incorporated most of the suggestions of ridecampers as well as most of

the complaints, so frankly I am surprised there are not more signers

given the amount of complaints re: the AHA. Doesn't matter to me-- I

would have sent it with only my signature on it-- just want to feel I

have tried something else-- who knows. Perhaps the timing is right now--

I hope!
