[RC] WS accident - A. Perez

How steep/high was the drop that the horse fell off? Is this
the same section of trail that horses have 'fallen off' during
Tevis rides? Was this a freak accident, or an accident waiting
to happen given the narrowness of the trail and the inevitable
fact that 'stuff happens' during endurance rides?

I have read aabout some of the accidents that have happened
before at Tevis, and those descriptions alone would keep me off
that trail (not that there is any danger of me EVER getting to
Tevis...). Some trails I simply would not risk my neck, or my
horses neck, on.

I hope ride management at least considers re-routing the trail
if the terrain is a factor in these accidents.
