==========================================

Sorry, I pushed the wrong button. Well to finish the story, My friend Vicki
was over come with the heat and got sick, but was happy to know the horse was
up. And another rider, Chris Martin came to our rescue also and gave us his
gatorade and offered to trailer me and my horse when we got to Michigan Bluff
to Foresthill. I was able to get Patriot to the bottom of the canyon and ride
him up the other side to Tamara and Matt Maderios place where they gave us both
water and support. We went on to finish Tevis that year and I got off my horse
on that trail and when there was room I pulled off to let other riders thru,
but I feel That Deadwood is a strange place to start a ride, since the trail is
soo narrow out of there. I'm sure that RM made everyone aware that was so
before the ride. Please have good trail manners at all times. This is a risky
and dangerous sport and we all need to be respectful of each other and our
trusty steeds.
