Don't forget the war mare award too.  I remember when juniors could not
top  ten or show for BC.  I helped crew  for Greg Perry on his first 50
and he  finished 3rd.  He was put down to 11th and could not show for
BC.  Those were the  rules then.   mb


I don't think it was ever AERC policy that juniors could not Top Ten and
show for BC--but many rides simply did that sort of thing on their own. 
Really the pits.  (I know I had to fight with a few RMs in the early days
to be able to judge junior horses that Top Tenned, and had to read them
the rule book...)
