Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (9:08:51), astride Falene De La Drome, won the Newmarket Endurance Ride held at Newmarket in England yesterday over a distance of 160km with Mubarak bin Shafya (9:08:52), riding Danny Boy, finishing second and third was Cile Demiro Jacbaquat (9:20:45) of France.

France captured team gold with host Great Britian capturing silver. The Royal Bahrain endurance team captured bronze.

Forty riders representing eight countries - UK, France, the UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Italy, Ireland and Bahrain - competed in the Newmarket race.
