[RC] Shock Wave Therapy-results and arthritis - Ag47xAu49

Just took my daughters pony to his vet in Albion Idaho for a re-check on his ankle. It has been one year almost to the day since his surgery/therapy. All is  about as good as it can be. The little bit of fluid is in the joint, not at the surgical site. He actually used the term " wind puff". I said, GOOD. Since wind puffs are more cosmetic than problematic. My shoer went with me and my daughter. The vet gave him one suggestion but was happy with the shoe job. Zebby will be on Conquer (a concentrated Hyaluronate gel) 10 cc's, 2x a week while under heavy work and cut back to once a week maintenance in the winter. Dr Clark really believes in this stuff. Same a Legend only oral and less expensive. Happy, happy, happy is Beccy right now. Thankful too.
I asked if SWT worked on arthritis and he said yes, depending on each individual case. He said it is not a Miracle fix-all but does work on an awful lot of stuff. The re-check was only $30.00 and he said to ultra-sound it would be a waste of my money, he would not get any more information than what he already had as to how the pony was doing. Now if my buddy Carol just heals well and quickly, not too much to ask, would you say? Beccy in Utah.
