[RC] Helmet stories - Susan Jones

Thought this link might be of interest.

To add my own little story: since becoming interested in Endurance, I
started wearing a helmet. At a recent clinic where everyone rides Western,
a juvenile and I were the only two wearing helmets. After hearing the
stories about helmets and falls, it didn't even bother me to be "different".

A week after the clinic, I fell off my horse and the back of my head hit the
ground hard. Helmet did it's job. The muscles on the sides of my neck and
abdomen were very sore the next day (something I don't understand), but
never even got a headache.

see someone who doesn't have any, hand them your tool box.
