[RC] Lost Padres - LD Riders - GarnerT

When I reread my post is sounded like I was being critical of the LD riders
for getting lost (after all, it was the Lost Padres ride), but I didn't mean
it that way.  In fact, I followed several riders off course on Day 1 of
Cuyama.  I'd like to blame them, but I was in that daze you get in sometimes
& blindly followed.  I won the dog turd award that day!

There is something really special about getting to ride all day, and all
night on your horse. I know that a lot of people like to get finished, and
get it over with. Yes, it is a lot of work. But, realize that each ride,
especially a 100 is a really special gift and savor it for all it is worth.
