Allstate declared > the damage 'an act of God'--and paid
the whole bill.
I was trying to get my insurance man to explain which
situations my homeowners would cover. It was something like, if I leave a
gate open, they don't cover it. If the horse jumps the fence, it's an "Act
of God". I now view jumping competitions as a religious
experience.
