[RC] re 4-1/6 mph - Karen Bratcher

Technically the rides have to be completed at a 4-1/6 mph minimum pace (i.e. 4-1/6 mph for 50 miles equals the max allowed time of 12 hours), but that is misleading for those new to the sport who may not realize the mandatory holds/vet checks come out of the ride time, plus all the time spent sponging, drinking, grazing, and extra pee stops for the rider along the way.  You really have to go *at least* at a 5mph pace (5.25 would be better) to barely squeak in in time... Trot Everywhere You Possibly Can :-D
