[RC] Question for the vets re: lab results - Suzanne Boyd

Hi,
I just had blood pulled on my 2 endurance horses for selenium levels(sent to
MSU) and while we were at it I had CBC's and chem. profiles drawn as well.
Everything looks pretty good, but both horses are either low/low-normal in
inorganic phosphorus as well as calcium. Not so low that I'm loosing any
sleep over it(not yet anyway!) but I'm curious as to what this indicates.
Should I address this with a change in diet? Also, they are both borderline
low in Chloride, but normal in the other electrolytes. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Suzanne Boyd

It is how we "feel" deep inside that matters, cause each of us knows the
truth, regardless of how we try make it complicated. It just isn't.
