Affect performance? Really? Didn't know that. My guys are on daily with purges at least twice a year with a good botacide. I didn't know a daily dewormer would affect performance. Which way, good or bad? My guys are doing great. My current ride just completed his first 2-day 50 and did just wonderful. Also, through a program with Strongid I get free colic insurance if I keep them on a the daily with biannual checks from the vet. I do that anyway. You just have to buy the dewormer from the vet's office and they keep track of it all and do the paperwork. If a horse that's in the program has to have colic surgery you can be reimbursed up to $5000 from the Strongid company. I think it's Pfizer. Anyway, I'll be interested in any other replies you get to your question.
