You mean you don't sing already???

LOL!  That was my response too!  I have walking songs, trotting songs, and
cantering songs... <g>  Am currently riding a horse that wants to get
goofy rushing home, and realized that I had forgotten to sing to
him--amazing what a difference it made last night in getting some
stretches of flat-footed walk instead of just jigging on the last 3/4 mile
home!

Riding alone is when you teach a horse all the "tools" and "cues" he needs
to handle the trail, to hold a speed, deal with hills, etc. It's also where
you develop the "bond" that causes him to "defer" to you before losing his
cool.
