I have a mare that when we finish a ride and even
if she is dry and I put a blanket on her (totally breathable) she starts
sweating on her lower hip area and chest to sides of shoulder. Same if I
blanket her in the trailer, also after rides I notice that some of her poop even
though of good substance it has mucus stuff on it....I am concerned maybe it is
a metabolic thing even though I ride really slow and her pulse comes right down
and she eats, drinks, etc.
