[RC] shaving horses - Gabi (Ra'anana Farm)

I live in Israel, which is hot desert climate.(over 30 degrees celcius)
I wonder if it will help my horses if I shave them during the summer
months?.
I have a few hairy ponies too.

They are riding school horses. working aprox 3 hours a day, on especially
busy days more. mixed beginner lessons mostly trotting, advanced lessons
cantering and show jumping.
They are stabled at night, we do not own blankets, but during the summer
months it does almost not cool much at night.

How often do you need to repeat? how quik does it grow back?

Which shaving patterns will be most comfi for them?

thanks

Gabi
