RE: [RC] [RC] Fw: AJC ARTICLE--BARTOW COUNTY - Laurie Durgin

Since I live about 6 miles from the Bartow county line, and interstate 75 runs thru Bartow from Atlanta, and since Budweiser built a big plant there a couple years ago, and like my county is being absorbed by Atlanta. I am not surprised. I don't like what is happening to my x-rural county either, but Atlanta is huge; 7 counties and is on it's way to covering the top 1/3 of the state.Like my county people 'ran away ' from Atlanta to go there and Atlanta followed.. .
They are just competing for the jobs and tax revenue, otherwise you are like my county and your property taxes get raised yearly to pay for all the stuff everyone expects as they move out.
And the only way this is endurance related is that my riding land about 2500 acres out my door, just got a huge develpement starting in a couple hundred acres while Rascal was on rehab. The rest will follow and I have already figured we have to move either to eastern Alabama or further NW in Ga. At least 40-60 miles .
