Congrats on a good buy...saw him about a year ago on the net and I was very 
tempted. He comes from great lines being from the John Baker horses. Glad to 
hear someone else 'followed her heart' and it worked out.Last June I saw a 
horse on the net that I knew the minute I saw the picture she was what I had 
been looking for for years. Arab/App mare..my size ..right age with tons of 
mountain experience. I live in Michigan and there aren't many mountains here 
but the mountain conditioning sure can't hurt a horse. E mailed for a 
video...talked to owner decided on a price..much lower than quoted...had a vet 
check ..contacted hauler and she was here the first week of July..I was more 
than a little scared as I had never done anything like this in my life.Forgot 
to mention she was in Portland,Oregon..out your way. As soon as she stepped off 
the trailer I knew I did the right thing and love this mare and the way she 
moves..we will be flying down trail this season;o)No regrets and glad I did 
it..Good Luck with your new guy!!
