[RC] Chicken Chase I,II,III Endurance Ride this weekend /April 16,17,18 - Peter DeMott (937) 478-6222

I put up a page on my web site with a few pictures from last year's
Chicken Chase. There is also a button to download a pdf of the ride
information/registration flyer. Ride manager information is also on
the page.

Chicken Chase is an Endurance Ride 19 miles north of Louisville,
Kentucky in Henryville, Indiana. The ride is in the beautiful Clark
State Forest. Everything is blossoming and the weather forecast is for
60-70s in this area. Trails are wide and well kept (see photos) and
the ride is well managed. The ride is sanctioned AERC, SERA, IAHC, and
OAATS.

Take a look at some photos / ride flyer / etc.

There was a write-up with color photos in Endurance News a year or so
ago. If you want to see the write-up you can go the "portfolio" on my
web site and take a look at that. I'm not sure if I have it large
enough to read, but I think it is. (Home page listed below)

I also have a page up for LBL Express which is being held at Land
Between the Lakes Kentucky April 23rd and 24th. Again, very beautiful
ride with outstanding campgrounds and facilities. See link

============================================================
Riding alone is when you teach a horse all the "tools" and "cues" he needs
to handle the trail, to hold a speed, deal with hills, etc. It's also where
you develop the "bond" that causes him to "defer" to you before losing his
cool.
