On the way home I realized that I had neglected to purchase dog food. I stopped, got some, and then returned to my car. I suddenly realized that I, a relative stranger, had locked an 80 lb dog in my car and had no idea if she would defend the car to the death (given a Rotweiler's size and jaw strength the death would probably be mine). Fortunately for all, her name, "DW Mein Schatz" fit her.
