Re: [RC] stick/automatic - Truman Prevatt

I tend to believe them. The shuddle is landed by computer. The best airplane ever made, the SR71 Blackbird was landed by computer and if the computer was out and the pilot had to take over it was considered an emergency landing and the plane was routed to one of the emergancy landing strips. It is only the best pilots that flew that plane and the ones I knew sure didn't want to bring it in by stick.

With modern sensors and modern automatic control theory and the current processors to implement it, the computers will shift much smoother, more efficiently than any human could ever do.

Time and technology marches on.

i love sticks but quite a few people had told me, no matter how good you
drive, the horses get a rougher ride than if you tow with an automatic.
i tend not to believe them.
do they make a stick shift diesel RV with 4 wheel drive? that would be cool!
