?????? When you are posting on the left diagonal you rise with the left shoulder (left leg) and sit when the shoulder comes back (hoof touches the ground). So when you post on the left diagonal, the horse is carrying your weight on his left front and right hind. You should post with the "outside" shoulder, i.e. when turning to the right you should be on the left diagonal and vice versa. But that is mainly because the horse should be carrying you with his "inside" hind leg to have better balance while turning. You don't say why you need to strengthen the left front. The exercises that would help the most depend on what problem you are actually having.
