I believe that prilosec is the human version of gastroguard (or more likely gastroguard is the equine version of prilosec).  You need to know the dosage of the active compound but you could get that from gastroguard and scale to prilosec.  However, if your horse doesn't have an ulcer - why put him on medication?  After all the last I heard all drugs including gastroguard are contrary to the AERC drug policy.
