Hello, Howard in answer to how the horses laid there not
breathing....they had 25 dummy horses that were stuffed to look real and came
from Hollywood where they have warehouses full of props. The only live
horses they used on those scenes were the ones that went down and got back
up. The rest were stuffed. Going to see it tonight cause i can't
wait for video. A neighbor over in the Ft. Valley was the
Re-enactor contact for the film and he told me they even dressed up
the dummies realisticaly. Its almost a documentary from the Southern
