[RC] [Guest] Aussie Horn or Not - Ridecamp Moderator

Ed Roley

My first saddle was an Aussie with a horn. Loved the saddle but not the horn. The Aussie is a secure saddle without the horn! My horse spooked once and my gut hit that horn and I had the largest hematoma you could imagine. Also, short jackets or shirts would catch on the horn if I leaned forward at all. Horns are only good for roping calves!
