[RC] Endurance in Greece - Bar JM Ranch

Is there information available to distribute on
starting an endurance organization and sanctioned
rides? Although my horses are much too young to begin
training, I was offered a horse to ride in a few
"endurance races" that have been "organized" here.
After asking about the rules and vet checks and
receiving only a puzzled expression, I politely
refused. My vet went to the first one as a spectator
and to be on hand for the inevitable. At least one
horse died. The second is scheduled for March. There
is interest here, just no one has any idea how to
organize an event and safety standards. A Bulgarian
friend, who is competing in Bulgaria's first rides,
joked that he had heard of the Greek rides. Basically,
a bunch of crazies running to the end to enjoy their
drinks! Help! We need educating!!
