The Pacific Crest Trail runs from Mexico to Canada.  In Oregon, this trail 
is available to horses and hikers and you can camp the whole length.  It is 
also very scenic.  Members from Oregon Equestrian Trail (OET) have ridden 
this trail, camped out, and would have information regarding any problems 
to watch out for.  The trail winds through the mountains and in some places 
goes by some horse camps with corrals, such as Quinn Meadows at the base of 
the Three Sisters.
