[RC] GPS Timex - Laura Hayes

SHARON WROTE:I saw a Timex product last fall at the Equine Affaire. I think
it was a watch,
and an armband transmitter/receiver. It was a couple hundred bucks, which
is
more than I can afford, but I'm still curious about it. Is it a good
product?
Does anyone know where I can find information about it online?

Sharon, I bought a Timex GPS 50 lap memory model (there is a 100 lap, but
other than number of laps, which didn't seem too different). It records
distance, works as a watch with date, ave speed, and other features. I have
only used it once because the weather here in Antartica (oh, I mean, NY) has
been so bad, but at any rate, it worked great. I am looking forward to
using it more.

It was brand new, and cost $129 on Ebay on a 'buy it now' feature, and a few
bucks for shipping.
